“My photography career started in 1995 in Split after I graduated from the School of Fine Arts. The daily newspaper Slobodna Dalmacija was a springboard for my career. Soon afterwords I moved to Zagreb and started working with the leading publishing houses and numerous weekly and monthly magazines.
Inspired by Jeff Ascough, one of the world’s best wedding photographers, and top documentary photographers such as Steve McCurry, Alex Webb, and Don McCullin, I applied my talents and skills to the wedding photography. In my work, I strive to capture events with the eye of an observer, and not a director ordering what somebody’s lifetime event should look like.
